On Tilt on CoinPoker
In the last days, I have experienced a massive downswing on CoinPoker. In fact, I was not yet profitable there but maybe the sample size is a bit small. However, I had played tournaments with buy-ins from anything between 1.10 and 25$, and not a single time did I finish in the money (ITM).

Professional Poker: Am I good enough?
After a 2nd massive downswing in April, I am back on track, and according to Sharkscope, I am on a good trajectory and “might be good enough to play at a professional level” – whatever that means. Back in the day, when I was a student, I was semi-professional, since I had financed part of…

Sit & Crush Leaderboard: How ACR gives me 50$ bonus per week
I was surprised to see that I get a regular extra 50$ from ACR Poker, and so I got curious about how this happened. It turned out that I made the weekly Sit & Crush Leaderboard that ranks players who can collect points playing “sit-and-go” tournaments or the rather new “on demand” MTT tournaments.

Goal achieved: 1000$ bankroll!
I had written about my next milestone in my last article and reckoned that I would reach 1000$ bankroll within the next 3-4 months. But it actually took me only one day more! Well, I felt like joining a 3000$ GTD Hyper Turbo PKO for 21$ buy-in, and guess what: I emerged victorious amongst 155…

Pokerswings
I have found my way back into Poker after a few years break, and I am happy to say (or rather write) that I am still a winning player. However, with wins in Poker, you also have to face a lot of downswings, esp. when you play turbo Sit n Gos and Cash Games.

ITM at Grand Prix: PlayLive Poker Tournament in Melbourne
In the last weeks, I was thinking about playing some poker again, and so I started to watch some footage of the EPT Paris, where one of my fellow Magic the Gathering colleagues Felix Schneiders made 2nd place and won more than 700k Euro as the runner-up. Also, I discovered ACR and started to play…
