In Tarkir Dragonstorm Limited, there are basically two camps: Boros / Mardu or Temur / 5-colour-dragon-soup. There is not much in between, however, I pulled off a 7-0 record with a Jeskai deck. It is rather unusual to play cards like Essence Anchor and Watcher of the Wayside but in the right deck, they have their place!
The strongest removal spells apart from Glacial Dragonhunt (obviously) in this deck was definitely Riverwheel Sweep. Getting an extra card and stunning a creature for three rounds is really good. Having Shocking Sharpshooter and Cori Mountain Stalwart is certainly also great, esp. when they both hit the board! Kindly note also the Wingspan Stride which can help the Equilibrium Adept to Flurry, and then hit the opponent over the top!
Certainly a very fun to play deck, and the best thing about this deck was that it had zero rares! I would say that Jeskai is still a little bit underdrafted, and if you have the feeling that you get late Jeskai Devotees, some Harmonize cards and the random Essence Anchor, then you might give it a crack as well! In order to make Essence Anchor playable, I would aim for at least 7-8 cards that have effects to leave the graveyard.
Milling yourself with Veteran Ice Climber and Watcher of the Wayside can help to get those cards into your yard. Fleeting Effigy helps with the Flurry and often times dealt 8-10 damage per game, turned Jeskai Devotee permanently into a 3/3 and dealt heaps of additional damage via Sharpshooter and Stalwart. A nice unusual deck with a ton of synergies that brought home the trophy with a clean 7-0 record on Mythic Ranked level!
