All-In or Fold on CoinPoker

In the past days, I have discovered the Push-Or-Fold tables (All-In or Fold) on CoinPoker. I have to say that the games are pretty wild at times, and I don´t know what to think of it. After a few hundred hands, I am definitely on the losing end (slightly) but it is definitely fun!

As the title suggests: there is only one decision to make. Either you go all-in or you just fold! There is more luck and variance involved but it seems that you can also play this format profitably.

At All-In-Or-Fold Poker Games, holding an Ace is usually a good idea, while pushing all-in!

I figured that widening your range not too much, even when short-handed is +EV but apart from that, I do not have a sophisticated strategy yet.

The problem is that if you don´t push enough all-in, you will lose a lot of money through the blinds! But if you push too often all-in, then you will run into hands that dominate you quite often.

Of course, all Aces, esp. the high ones are good but also any pocket pair and suited face cards. 4-handed and with more players, you might wanna also push smaller suited connectors – my favourite is clearly 67s.

I play “All-In-or-Fold” only as pastime and not to win. The swings are brutal at times, and you can loose 4-5 stacks within a a few hands which can be pretty frustrating. Of course, you can also win a couple of stacks within a short period of time but in the end, there is only one big winner in this format: the bank or in this case CoinPoker:P
