Today, I was thinking about starting a series called “from 100$ to 10000$ poker bankroll”. This will keep me on track and document my journey from micro stakes over mid stakes to higher buy-ins at the MTT poker tournament tables.
I had started to play on ACR Poker late Feb / early March 2026, and so far I am about 400$ up from my initial 100$ deposit. I had already peaked at 1200$ end of March but then in April, I was going through a pretty aweful downsing, and I can say for sure that I was tilting.
I think this is just part of the process, and I can´t wait to reach a 1000$ bankroll again and manage it better, this time. Currently, I am still focusing on “On Demand” tournaments but after the big swings in the past weeks, I am not 100% sure, if this is still the way to go.
I am at 426 events now and will continue playing 3.30, 6.60, 11, and the occacsional 16.5$ buy-in tournaments to see, where I will end up after 500 events. Given my history over the past weeks, I could end up with a 400$ bank roll, a 800$ bankroll, or even with more than 1000$ bankroll again – let´s see!
